Making Maggi Chow mein style!!

Hello there! Today my husband wanted to eat chow mein and my daughter was in the mood of having Maggi, therefore, I made up a new recipe for Maggi which I am calling it as Maggi Chow Mein Style! Stay tuned for the recipe and the YouTube video link as well.

Things you'll need for Maggi Chow Mein Style

To start with you'll need:
  1. Obviously, Maggi- We were 3, so we prepared 3 packets of Maggi.
  2. Your favorite vegetables: I used Green capsicum, one carrot, cabbage, paneer, a few onions, and ginger garlic paste 1spoon.

Procedure:

  • Take a pan and pour half a cup of oil and heat it. Once it is heated add ginger garlic paste, onions, which are already being cut and saute them till they turn golden brown. Caution: As the oil will be hot do wear full sleeves or cover your hands and arms while working.

  • Once the onions are golden brown and the vegetables which you want to have in your Maggi and saute them for 2- 3 minutes. The outcome will look like this
  • Now you have to boil the Maggi and have to make a choice between the following two options:
  1. Boil them in a second pan.
  2. Stream in the microwave(we opted for this option, however, it simply your choice as both are equally good ).
  • Now what you just have to mix them are we're good? Nah!! There's a lot to be done yet!

Making the gravy/ masala

  • In the pan where you have mixed vegetables and the golden brown onions, now you have to add a few things as well:
  1. Soya Sauce- 1 bottle cap/ 1 spoon
  2. Tomato ketchup- 2-3 spoons
  3. Haldi/ turmeric- 1/2 spoon
  4. Red chili powder- 1/2 spoon
  5. Chat masala- 1/2 spoon
  6. Garam Masala- 1/2 spoon
  7. Salt-1/2 spoon
  8. Maggi Masala- depends on the number of packets of Maggi you are making
After adding all of the ingredients, saute them for 2-3 minutes so that they are completely mixed. The result will be like this

Grevy/masala is ready now add:-

  • Now simply add the Maggi which you either boiled or steamed.
  • After adding Maggi with the masala, do add a full glass of water in the pan and saute for 1-2 minutes and let it cook on the gas on high flame for 5 minutes. Once the water dries, you Maggi is ready to be consumed.
