Making Peanut Butter at home Quick and Easy in 2020

Making Peanut Butter is one of the easiest things anyone can do. All the ingredients required to make it are readily available at home. So let's get going and make your Peanut Butter in less than 5 minutes!

Peanut Butter
Peanut Butter is a great alternative to regular fat processed butter. As it is prepared with peanuts, it has fewer carbs and a high amount of protein. Protein is essential for better body development and losing fat so, if you are health conscious Peanut Butter will help you reach your goals.

I understand Peanut Butter is easily available in the market and multiple companies make it. The only concern I have is the ingredients used by them. They use oil, sugar, additional flavoring that take out the healthy nature of the Peanut Butter for which you are going to consume it. On the contrary, when you will prepare it at home you don't need to put any oil whatsoever at any point in time. I only add a pinch of salt as I like my Peanut Butter as raw as it could be. In the place of sugar, I suggested you jaggery which has no side effect, unlike sugar.

If you follow my recipe I am 100% sure you'll prepare it and would make it every time rather than rushing to the store to buy one!

Things required:-

  1. Peanuts(any type, any quantity)
  2. Salt or sugar or jaggery
  3. Blender

Process

The first step is to roast the peanuts. For this, put the burner on the lowest possible range and keep on stirring until they turn golden brown. Once done, let them cooled down and in the meantime set up the blender.

Put all the Peanuts in the blender and blend them for only 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, stop the blender for 10 seconds as this is the process of making butter. While the blender is resting, open it and add salt or sugar depending upon the flavor you want. If you want to make it sweet I would highly recommend using jaggery over sugar as jaggary has health benefits.

Now again use the blender for 30 seconds and resting for 10 to 15 seconds. Now you can see Peanuts are turning into the paste. Repeat the process 1 more time and you will see something like this.

It's not ready yet but now the Peanuts are completely turned into paste. Now keep on using the blender for 30 seconds.

How will I know when Peanut Butter is ready?

Once the Paste starts to leave oil that's the indication it's ready. When I make Peanut Butter at home it only takes around 3 laps of 30 seconds for it to be completely ready. However, it depends on how much quantity of Peanut Butter you are making. So after every 30 seconds do check the oil for the paste/butter.
